After you sign on the dotted line, the hard part is doing the work. The training you endure leading up to an event should prepare you not only physically, but also mentally to complete the task at hand with the best performance possible. BPC’s running group will give you ALL of the tools to hit peak performance on your big day.

By joining the group, you are surrounding yourself with people that have similar goals and a group of educated, experienced coaches, that will motivate and guide you step by step along the way. Together, we achieve more.

Where Will the Groups Meet?

The groups will meet every Wednesday evening at Tiger Lane in Midtown. Sessions will start promptly at 6pm and will generally last about an hour. We will have some fluids but don’t forget to bring nutrition and appropriate clothing. At times the groups will be split according to the distance and level you have chosen. Most group runs will be on self contained loops within the fairgrounds. This ensures everyone will get personal attention from the coach or coaches at the session.

When Will the Groups Start?

Both Half Marathon groups will begin August 12th. Preregistration will close August 10th, but you are welcome to jump in with the group late for a prorated amount.*

* Group will be closed when coaches determine it’s no longer safe for the athlete to begin their training. This will be on a case by case basis. Please contact us to join the group after preregistration ends.

Half Marathon Group

Beginner – The beginner group is meant for those looking to finish their first half marathon. Preferably you have completed a 5k, but not required. Everything will be on a steady progression.

Intermediate – The intermediate group is made for those who have completed one or more half marathons. This group is looking to improve upon past performances.

*Cost:

Any Group: $50 /mo. (5% discount with monthly auto-debit)

Half Marathon Groups: $180 if paid in full by August 10th (10% discount)

*Does not include any race entry fees.
