BPC PeakFit™ is a group training class in which the clients will train much like a professional athlete. This is not your typical bootcamp style fitness. You are guided through an hour long training session which will include a warm up, strength period, and a cardio or energy system development session. Each session will be different which will keep your body guessing. During energy system development, clients will be doing activities such as hurdle drills, ladder drills, cone drills, sprints, jump rope, plyometrics, or a combination of many different drills. Strength will be mostly circuit style and total body in nature, but at times it will have themes such as upper body, lower body, power, medball, and core days. We will utilize implements such as medicine balls, physio balls, balance discs, and more. PeakFit sessions can be held anywhere and can be private for a group of 8 or more. We can also do a PeakFit™ camp that is geared towards a specific group of individuals(i.e. runners, cyclists, triathletes, cheerleaders, etc). That group’s PeakFit™ sessions will be periodized (volume and intensity will change as well as the focus of the workout) based on the time of year and what part of the season that group is in at the time. PEAKFIT™ MIDTOWN
PeakFit™ will be held Monday-Thursday from 6am until 7am at Saint John’s Episcopal Church – 3245 Central Ave, in Midtown. We will be in the gymnasium so it is rain or shine! This is the perfect supplement for anyone training for a running, cycling, or triathlon event. Saint John’s has showering facilities for those of you that need to get to work shortly thereafter.
